Hi There! I'm a UX/Product Designer formerly at Thinking Capital.
My design journey started in College. I attended George Brown for Graphic Design, where I learned I had a big interest in the digital design medium. After some exploration, I knew User experience design was the area of focus I wanted to take my career.
At the time UX programs weren't as prevalent, so I learned most of my process, concepts, and theories of UX/UI and product design by reading blogs, attending workshops, and applying what I learned to my early projects. I'm a big picture thinker and enjoy taking products from ideation to development.
I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of ideas within the fintech space. From transforming an online application form to building a first of its kind business credit score. I've also had the opportunity to work with brands such as Equifax, CIBC, National Bank, Money Mart, Staples, Payfirma, Global Payments, Moneris, UPS Store, Touch Bistro and many more.
When I'm not working on building meaningful customer experiences I love spending my time creating content for the internet. I host and produce a podcast about technology and how it affects our daily lives. I run both a Youtube and Twitch channel where I share my passion for video games. I also enjoy learning new skills, recently I've taken to learning Swift so I can develop my first iOS application. Lastly its always good to manage a healthy work-life balance and sometimes that means traveling the globe in search of new experiences.
